listed on the registration page during the enrollment period
from September to January each year.
Teachers are
welcome to bring Math Kangaroo Competition to their schools.

September 8, 2010 - January 10, 2011:
Registration of participants on
www.mathkangaroo.org. Registration at the registered
centers/schools is possible. Registration fee is $20. For
financial assistance contact
izabela@mathkangaroo.org.

January 11, 2011 - January 30, 2011:
Late registration with greater registration fee: $30.

January 20, 2011: All lists of the
students registered at schools are sent to
info@mathkangaroo.org.

February 2, 2011: Each Math Kangaroo
Leader can download her/his participants list from the
password guarded Manager Page.
-
Not later than during the last week of February 2011:
Each Leader sends e-mail to the families of the registered
students with reminder about the date, time and place of the
competition. If assistance with the e-mail is needed, please contact
magdalenateodorowicz@mathkangaroo.org and we will be helped with this.

March 1 - March 10, 2011: packages with
T-shirts and gifts for the participants, the competition
questions and answer cards will be sent to the participating
centers. Leaders will be requested to verify the
contents of the packages
promptly.

Names of the participants are available on
Manager Page as soon as their payment is recorded in Math
Kangaroo database until the winners are announced in May.

Before March 17, 2011: Managers will
make sure id numbers of the students are recorded on the
answer forms.
-
Thursday, March 17, 2011: Math Kangaroo
Day.
-
March 18, 2011: All answer forms are in
mail to Math Kangaroo in USA Headquarters; pre-addressed
envelopes will be provided.

March 2011: Local Leaders send
congratulation e-mail to the participants and inform parents
of the absent students how/when to claim their packages.
-
REGISTERED STUDENTS WHO DO NOT ATTEND THE
COMPETITION CLAIM THEIR PACKAGES FROM THE LOCAL LEADERS in
March and April only - in person if possible.

May 3, 2011: Information about National
Winners is sent to the Leaders. Leaders send congratulations
e-mail to the winners and inform when and where awards can be
claimed in the end of May or in June. THE ACTUAL RESULTS ARE
NOT DISCLOSED UNTIL THE AWARDS CEREMONY.

May 1 - May 8, 2011: Packages with
diplomas and awards are sent to the Leaders.

National Winners list is
published on www.mathkangaroo.org
after the awards ceremonies take place in all participating
states. Answer keys are available from the Leaders and on
our page in June.
-
May - June 201: Awards Moments take
place at Math Kangaroo Centers across USA. Feedback and
reports on time volunteered are sent to
info@mathkangaroo.org.
Reimbursement for expenses needs to be requested in May.

Families of the winners who could not attend
the awards ceremonies need to claim their awards from their
local mangers by June 15 - in person if possible.
